While I enjoyed the boutique charm and unique decor of Casa Colombo, there were some notable hiccups during my stay. The initial check-in experience was frustrating, especially with misunderstood room preferences and slow service, which gave me a rocky start. However, the spacious room and my personal domo provided some redeeming qualities, making my overall experience nice.

The location, somewhat tucked away, was a peaceful oasis amidst the city's chaos, but it took a bit of effort to find at first. Dining was an absolute highlight, especially the Sri Lankan offerings.

I had a fantastic three-night stay at Casa Colombo Collection. The charming blend of the old building's character with modern design touches made it a unique boutique experience. While I loved the warm hospitality, especially from Arun, the room could use some tweaking for comfort. Overall, it was a nice trip, thanks in part to great food and the helpful staff.

The Peppin Road Suite was gorgeous and charismatic, equipped with all the facilities I needed. The space even had sections that could be closed off, which added to its charm. My only issue was with the mattress being too soft and the pillows too firm.

The staff were extremely helpful and professional. Arun, in particular, went above and beyond by arranging a driver for us and even guiding us while shopping. I felt genuinely cared for during my stay.

The location was decent, about a 10-15 minute tuk-tuk ride from Colombo Fort. It was a little tricky to find at first, but I loved being close to local bars and shops, and it’s just a stroll away from some nice cafes.
